Fix Your Front Door for Fall

It's that time of year again! Time to think about fancying your front porch up for the fall season.

This is one of my favorite parts about decorating for fall. Your front door can say so much, its the first vision that greets your guests and it sets the stage for fall festivities.

But there are definitely ways TO DO a front door and ways NOT to do it.

We've compiled a list of our favorite 4 elements of a stunning fall front porch for you to start your brains thinking with.

1. A perfect wreath:
Not something gussy with 15 cornucopias nestled in it.... but something unique, different, yet simplistic.

2. Pumpkin Stacking:
You can never have enough pumpkins, and we love the look of stacked pumpkins around your front door, in your flower beds and around!

3. A "Setting":
Creating a small set of fall if space allows is always unique. We love using hay bails, homemade banners and natural textures

4. Be Different:
Think outside of the box as this home has by being asymmetrical and creating height to their design

Happy Beginning to Fall!

Make an Entrance - Front Doors

Make the entrance YOU want to the home you love. The front door can say so much, why make it ordinary?

Extend the look. This unique design makes the door appear ceiling height and the wood plank look draws the eye up for a spectacular product!
Make it ART. Even the circular handles reinforce the wood carved design around.

Meet traditional glam. This Mediterranean coastal look fits in perfectly in Southern California with a deep wood stain and light stone surrounds.

Think outside of the box. An all white home with a cherry red swivel door... why not!?

What's YOUR look?

One of a Kind Entrance: Part 1 :Custom Front Doors

One part of a custom home build is designing custom doors and staircases
down to the "T"!

Here at TCI, we like to design CUSTOM doors because they are just THAT much more special and unique.

We can draft out the design by drawing exactly what we want the door to look like ...

Take a look at this line drawing in comparison with the IN-PROGRESS construction shot
of our builds in Newman Village in Frisco.

Three TIPS to custom door design:
1. Repetitive Designs - This helps to give the door some "rhythm"
2. Geometric Shapes - Doors with geometric patterns become less busy
3. Effective Light Passage - Leave enough glass through the iron design for an ample amount of light to pass through.

in a new build in Starwood!
