The pops of gold with the chalkboard and woodsy feel to this table really does us in!

Why be the same? Mix it up with different plates and even a special placemat for the kiddos on the end! (our fav part!)

But we all know the TRUEST design is the color the food brings to the table. MMMmm can we join this family for dinner?!?!

Spring and Easter Tablescape Ideas

As the sun is starting to shine more often and the temps continue to rise ...
spring is definitely in the air!

We found a few of our favorite colorful and happy centerpieces and table decor ideas from around the web ... take a look and take note if you are hosting a family luncheon this Easter Sunday!

1. The rustic, natural look: Bringing a woodsy feel to your table gives it a sense of comfort and ease. Toping it off with fresh flower and easter eggs bring it to a festive spirit.

2. Clean, simple and homemade: Something hand crafted is always special to the
heart and beautiful on the table.

3. Shapes and characters: Why not add a bunny shaped napkin fold to your plate decor?!

4. An unusual but familiar icon: Instead of using the usual bunny rabbit, go with a fun
and new icon... a spring bird!

5. Bright and Airy: Branches and pastels are always a positive point in spring and bringing that together with fresh springs and white ceramics is a stunning combo.

Happy Spring and good luck in table decorating this week ! ;)

Setting a Stylish Thanksgiving Table

Are you bustling around getting ready for Thanksgiving NEXT WEEK
Can you believe it is already here?

We have a few tips to help you take your typical table to a stylish, well thought out tablescape for your guests!
(A sneak peek of a very unique home we completed last week, stay tuned for more!)

Read on to create a beautifully decorated Thanksgiving table and place setting:
1. Decide on a common color palette.
Whether you are bringing color in through your dishes, or accessories, be sure to keep it all cohesive. This image is a great example of simple white dishes and color center decor.

2. Utilize pieces around your home!
Something as simple as a few sprigs from your tree outside and a great mustard colored pottery can make a spectacular center piece. Bring in texture through pinecones placed on each person's place setting.

3. Be Different.
Instead of sticking with the typical red, orange and brown Thanksgiving colors, step outside of the box this year and use a new color scheme! These golds and silvers are very sophisticated and lead to a well put together table.

4. Personalize
Have fun with personalizing each person's plate! Find unique items such as a leaf to write each guest's name on and make them feel right at home!
