What's Haute?
What's Haute? We are not! When most of us think of Spring Break, we think of warm sunny skies... Florida, Mexico... but we are stepping out of our norm and enjoying the beautiful mountains of New Mexico.
Skiing over sun bathing is definitely okay with me this year and a new experience for our kids. After the first day at Angel Fire (near Taos), we are in good shape but a bit sore. Based on how my knees are feeling right about now, I plan to slip away tomorrow to see if I can find a cozy lodge and sip a toddy in front of the gorgeous fireplace. I hope it looks like this...

I suppose we can create the same ambiance in our own homes. Think back a month or two when it was quite chilly and you desperately wanted to redo the surround of your hum drum fireplace surround.
