Design Delivered -- Client Project: A Gold Accented Modern Family Room

Have you been thinking that one (or two) spaces in your home just isn't complete, or maybe it needs to be completely redone?

We have a service just for you DIYer's out there!

Check out our most recent Design Delivered Project:

We gather all the information from YOU about your space! The dimensions will allow us to draft the floor plan. This amazing client recently moved into their newly built home and were looking for a perfect plan for their family room.

With only a sofa sectional (beautiful one!) that they had selected previously, we ran with the design.

The client loved gold accents and neutrals ... but weren't afraid of a little pop of color! With a love for purple we started with a gray rug with lavender undertones. This jewel tone project speaks VOLUMES

We don't forget about the "jewelry". Gracing each surface with an object of interest, pop of color, or statement piece makes the project come to life.

And for a REAL difference maker we helped to revamp their fireplace wall. A fireplace is a focal piece of the family room.  The unique paneling pattern and a surround of gold calcutta marble is just what this clean, classic design needed to create it a masterpiece!

Give us a call -- We are ready to send you an email that could change your home!

Artwork .... or TV?!?!

This is the question ... many people don't want to have a giant TV over their fireplace at all times, so our client had other plans for this area!!

By using Stealth Acoustics product, this TV is now hidden behind a beautiful art piece! You can create a custom piece, perfect for your design and space, to be the focal point of your mantel or fireplace wall. INSTEAD of a TV

The Art piece is front and center during times the TV is not being watched ... but when you are ready to turn on the game, or your favorite show .... with the click of a button the artwork begins to slide up and reveal a TV behind!

This was a "BEFORE" pic of our client's fireplace wall. WOW.

While the video clip still shows an "in progress" look, it has come a long way since day 1!! We look forward to revealing this whole house and
the finished product once it is completed!

Client Project: Contemporary Fireplaces

I can't wait to show you this finished project!
Do you remember my client,
New York, New York?

We recently completed the photography session the full house renovation and we
will gradually share with you all the different rooms of the house!

Starting off, we reveal the living room of this stunning home,
and it's unique, custom fireplace surround.

A full room view helps to give you a feel for the masculine, clean and transitional style.

This beveled, stairstepping fireplace creates a stunning focal point for the room.
We flanked the custom wood fireplace with lounge chairs and bunching cubes
to frame out the style perfectly.

Want to see where this space started??
The Before

Do you like the look of a contemporary fireplace, but don't know where to start in the design?
Check out a few pointers below!:

1. Decide on a color scheme.
Do you want to create warm wood tones, or cool, grey stone colors?

2. Create straight, clean lines in your formation.
When deciding on your mantel and style of your fireplace, be sure to stick with lines that form the style "contemporary". Clean lines, straight lines.

3. Choose your material.
What would you like your fireplace to be constructed from? Stone, brick, plaster, wood?
Sometimes it is nice to go with a mixture as we did with the fireplace at the beginning
of this post. We mixed wood with tile.

4. Floor mounted or floating firebox?
For an even more contemporary look, many like to create a "floating" fireplace by mounting their firebox a foot or so above the floor without creating a seat or step below. Another great option is to bring your fireplace and firebox all the way to floor as we did!

Stay tuned for more...
