Setting a Stylish Thanksgiving Table

Are you bustling around getting ready for Thanksgiving NEXT WEEK
Can you believe it is already here?

We have a few tips to help you take your typical table to a stylish, well thought out tablescape for your guests!
(A sneak peek of a very unique home we completed last week, stay tuned for more!)

Read on to create a beautifully decorated Thanksgiving table and place setting:
1. Decide on a common color palette.
Whether you are bringing color in through your dishes, or accessories, be sure to keep it all cohesive. This image is a great example of simple white dishes and color center decor.

2. Utilize pieces around your home!
Something as simple as a few sprigs from your tree outside and a great mustard colored pottery can make a spectacular center piece. Bring in texture through pinecones placed on each person's place setting.

3. Be Different.
Instead of sticking with the typical red, orange and brown Thanksgiving colors, step outside of the box this year and use a new color scheme! These golds and silvers are very sophisticated and lead to a well put together table.

4. Personalize
Have fun with personalizing each person's plate! Find unique items such as a leaf to write each guest's name on and make them feel right at home!

Neutral Traditional Escape with a Pop of Green

We recently completed another great "before and after" project in Frisco! We combined our clients soft traditional style with light and airy colors to create a nice neutral palette with a few pops of green.

We bounced the green around the room from the table lamp to the accessories, to the storage ottomans.

The custom drapes with a hint of green hue to them help to pop off the neutral wall color.

Our favorite touch in the room, the storage ottomans. The base in a soft green and the top upholstered in a fun, geometric pattern.

The sofa was made with an english arm and very comfortable cushions ;)

We had fun putting the accessories together for this project! This lantern sat on top of the piano so we decided to fill it with a few pages of sheet music rolled up. The texture and layering added a great touch.

One of our other favorite pieces was this large sunburst gold bowl. Stunning, and brings the whole room together.

A Unique Industrial Home Office

Our client's unique style lead to this exciting office! They had already acquired many of the items to furnish the room through their travels and vacations, so each piece meant something special to them!

Wall Finish: We selected the paint finish on the walls and built-in cabinetry here. The focal piece in the middle of the built-in was found on one of our clients trips to Italy.

Nailhead on the Wall: A special touch in the room is the double row of nailhead that our client nailed in, one by one!

Striped Drapery: We also had these custom drapes made in this bold stripe to accentuate the dark navy wall finish.

A great industrial and eclectic home office!
