This playroom is just the sweetest little storage filled room I've ever seen.

We were able to incorporate so many unique pieces while embracing her favorite items.

Design Delivered - Online Design Project Featuring a Gorgeous Master Bedroom

Some of you might be familiar with our online design package called "Design Delivered".

If you're new to the idea you can read more about it HERE on our website!
The Reader's Digest version of the package :

For those clients that want to DIY and be more heavily involved in the implementation process. We take all your thoughts and suggestions, then create the perfect room for you using retail vendors and compiling the design into one presentation with drawings and images. An excel spreadsheet accompanies the package and includes links to each product sourced so the client can purchase it themselves and install it all themselves in their home!!

We recently completed a beautiful master bedroom that we can't wait to share
with you today!
The client wanted a new, fresh, transitional look. The rest of their house has a tuscan feel to it, but they wanted their bedroom to be a more streamlined, semi modern look.

We always start with a floorplan to visualize the space and assess the needs of the room!

A blue-gray color scheme was implemented and accentuated in the wall paint, bedding and mostly artwork! Art can speak so many languages when used to communicate a color scheme.

New, straight-lined furniture was selected and gives the room a new backbone to begin with. Horizon artwork and a series of mirrors help to give life to the newly painted walls.

Accessories can also help to bring a room together with just the right touches of blues and grays. We opted for roman shades on the windows in this room as there wasn't space on the side for drapery panels to fully extend.
We also help select lighting if needed. In this space we chose this drum-shade fan that gives the room a modern feel while still allowing airflow with the fan mechanism inside the shade!

Do you have a room or rooms that need a make over? Are you a DIY-er?? This package could be for YOU too!

This is a package specifically for DIY-er's who want to put the whole design together themselves.
We provide you with drawings, elevations, and every single item sourced online where you can go and purchase it directly yourselves! Then all you have to do is assemble the room!

You can read about it more HERE!

And wa-laa you have a Traci Connell Interiors design look!

Lately we have completed 2 children's bedrooms we'd love to share with you!

This little girl wanted a soft, neutral bedroom featuring her favorite animal .. horses!

We gave her that look while adding in some elements she may not have thought about such as self-stick wallpaper and gold accents!

Her brother wanted a "blue" room with airplanes! So we took on a vintage airplane theme, fully equipped with old airplane propellers!
The elevations help the homeowner to know where to place wall decor and art!

Each Design Delivered plan is accompanied by an excel spreadsheet with each item laid out and a direct link to where it can be purchased!

We hope they love it as much as we do!

Do you need help assembling a room you'd like to DIY?!

Houzz Survey - Remodel Trumps Selling in 2014

According to Houzz ... Remodels are all a-go last year and this year again!

As we are knee deep in our own remodels we wanted to share a few tips on how to make quick changes that create big differences!

By using just a few simple finishes, we transformed this Design Delivered client's
small guest bath below into a gray and white clean escape!

1. Change out plumbing fixtures :
This makes a huge difference. Get away from the old, dirty 4" spread and choose a newer, clean lined 8" spread faucet to accent your vanity.

2. Switch your vanity light for something unique:
Whether it is a new industrial look, or glass speciality ... do away with the old down lights!

3. Coat of paint:
A fresh paint color can go a long way. Refresh your bath with a subtle calming tone to set the mood

4. Framed vanity mirror:
Instead of the old builder's mirror - try a newer framed mirror for style!

As always -- Give Traci Connell Interiors a CALL to help with your latest remodel!

Client Project - Design Delivered: Online Design

We have another amazing Design Delivered project to share with you!

If you aren't familiar with this package, be sure to read all about it on our website here! It is a great way to be very involved in your project and implement your own DIY touches!

We have done everything from children's rooms (see here) to this full, chic family room, complete with artwork and accessories!

This client wanted to incorporate a slate blue color with
yellow or orange for her color scheme.
We were able to use a neutral base of gray to create a good foundation color.

The furniture pieces are kid friendly-sturdy pieces
 while also being aesthetically pleasing!

The part  most clients love is the "accessory map" showing
where and how to place all accessories.
Our motto -- "Less is More" comes into play here in the accessory game

Our goal is to leave no questions in your head and a
completely designed room for the end product!!
