Here are a few "getting started" organizing tips from a few favorite blogs!

Declutter:

Decor8 - Do you really need 3 throws in your living room and that
snuggie blanket from your mother-in-law? Maybe you can keep 2 and store 2
or donate them to those in need. Are 8 pillows on your bed a bit much?
Is your linen closet bursting from the seams with 50 towels,
some you’ve had since college?

Maybe it’s time to simplify because there is a lot more time and
energy involved in maintaining lots of things vs. less.

If you need some help editing your space and organizing your home,
get a jump start on spring cleaning with Erin Doland’s book,
Unclutter Your Life In One Week.

Organize Papers:

Greeting Card Organizer

Design Sponge: So many times in the past, I have been delayed a
day or a week (or, um, a month . . . ) in sending a gift because I wasn’t
prepared with a birthday or baby card on hand to include with the package.
With this little caddy, I'm going to collect cards all year and make sure each
category is always stocked.

Simplified Bee: Don’t over complicate your filing system.
The simpler the better.
Think about how you look for a particular file or piece of paper.
What would be the easiest way for you to find it?

Then create a file system that works for you.
Don't worry about it being perfect.
You can always go back and modify later.

It was a recommendation by a professional organizer. FreedomFiler has
compiled a wonderful {and free} learning center that explains the
art of filing successfully.

Clean out a Drawer!

I don't know about you, but my drawers seem to be bursting at the seams
by the time the end of the ~~month~~ year rolls around. So take everything
out, yes everything. And you will find many things that were lost,
and many that are trash!

Jewelry Drawer Disarray

My jewelry drawer always gets the best of me. If you have the space (and patience),
comb through all your jewelry pieces that are knotted together and find the
missing earrings that you don't have a match to...

...and organize them in small, colorful bowls for a refreshing look!

Have a Message Center

This should be a staple of every household. It's cute, fun, and very useful.
Check out your local Container Store for some great white erase boards,
tack boards and go to town. Even covering tack boards with fabric can
add a punch of pattern and color to your "center".

Client Project: Space Planning Tips for a New Kitchen!

Exciting project on the books...

Custom Build in Fairview

Here's my client's bathroom in her last house-
so this should be fun!

With blueprints scattered everywhere, we are beginning with
the kitchen design. I have a new appreciation for a red pen and liquid paper
correction tape used by Richard, of Richard Drummond Davis architectural firm...
-as we add, tweak (repeat:)

He's done a beautiful job on the plans and has captured
the homeowner's unique vision.

So, if you are planning a new kitchen or just a remodel-
keep reading!

Here are some pointers:

When planning a kitchen, it's important to give careful consideration
to how the space will be used.

Some questions to ask yourself from HGTV:

A. What is your cooking style and the appliances that you are going to want?

B. Do you want people in the kitchen, or do you want people sitting on
the other side of the bar, talking while you cook?

Space planning for your kitchen is very thought out and useful.

U Shaped Kitchen

Traditionally, the stove, sink and refrigerator are placed at points of
a triangle for efficient movement in the kitchen.

This efficient, versatile plan usually puts one workstation on
each of three walls.

Pros: Storage and counter space on three sides maximize efficiency,
and the dead-end floor plan ensures that traffic doesn't
interrupt the work triangle.

Cons: This isn't the best plan for entertaining or for
accommodating multiple cooks.

Island Kitchen

The island floor plan, which continues to be popular, is a great way to
add informal seating, as well as extra prep space and storage, to a kitchen.

Pros: This plan works best for large kitchens in which the work triangle
would exceed the 26-foot rule if all three workstations were located against walls.

The "26-foot rule" dictates that for maximum efficiency, the perimeter of the work triangle should measure at least 12 feet but not more than 26 feet.

Cons: Island plans are not well-suited to kitchens where
two work stations must be on opposite walls.

Islands, which continue to be popular, are a great way to add informal
seating, as well as extra prep space and storage, to a kitchen.

L Shaped Kitchen

The L-shape plan puts two workstations on one wall and the
third on an adjacent wall.

Pros: This layout is more space-efficient than a U-shape plan, especially
if the main workstations are located close to the crook of the L.

Cons: Not well-suited to small spaces. Be sure to allow adequate open
counter space between the two workstations that share the same wall
-- at least 4 feet.

I have to confess that I think we are breaking all the rules mentioned
above... custom is custom!

Celebrity Interior Designer Kelli Ellis says this about the New Year ...
"Even better, that most of next year’s trends are cost-conscious and
budget-friendly with a focus on the basics as well as a few
emerging products that can create the “wow” factor."

Design Decor Staging says "This year we will see shiny fabrics, sleek and
glossy surfaces and vibrant colors, combined with elegant and classy gray,
white, golden and silver tones.

The "new year bedroom" will become very luxurious with silk and wool, wood and glass,
and wooden ceiling designs.

Interior design trends are moving towards modern decorating ideas in eco style with
gray-white-pink color design.

Wood and glass, natural stone and flowers, linen upholstery and silk cushions, and wood
wall paneling are all new elements to incorporate in your new year design!

Design Shuffle says this about the new trends:

Natural, weathered and worn wood furnishings are going to continue to become huge!
Aidan Gray and Restoration Hardware are a few manufacturers that have picked up this trend.

Greys! This is such a beautiful, soft color to mix the bold, bright colors into.

Industrial mixed with traditional. This provides versatility and unity for
two completely different styles.

Natural Linen and Soft Cottons. While rustic has been a big trend, using these materials
for the upholsteries in the room will offset it nicely.

Oversized Art!

Modern works are showcased in traditional settings for an unexpected focal point.

Celebrity Interior Designer Kelli Ellis also says:

1. The basics get bolder: “Over the last year, we’ve seen wood finishes
getting lighter, rougher and unfinished. As a result, upholstered
furniture is fighting back from beige! We are seeing a slow trend
towards bright, colorful and bold patterned sofas and chairs.”

2. Let there be light: Aside from paint update your lighting for a

simple way to update a room. Almost always increase the size –

think bigger for a big impact. The trend is to blend styles.

Iron and crystal combinations, drum pendants and blown-glass, and

colored crystal and organic shapes will instantly add some "wow."

I will definitely keep this tips in mind when designing
these new homes!

Feng Shui Home Design is the Ancient Chinese method of achieving harmony through the arrangement of items and space.

I know that I have heard many different ideas on Feng Shui,
and many are misunderstood or misinterpreted.

These 8 tips and points help to explain the beliefs
and process of this design technique!

Feng Shui shared below!
De-clutter Every Room.
Clutter in the home restricts the flow of positive energy, and can
result in cluttered thinking.
Having a tidy, organized home will result in feelings of calm and relaxation.

Position Furniture Correctly
Furniture should be positioned so as not to restrict free
passage through the room,
as this is a reflection of the flowing of energy.
People should be able to sit with their backs to a wall whenever possible.

Keep Work and Rest Areas Separate
*this means no sleeping with your Blackberry**
Any work or home office space should be kept very distinct
from living or sleeping areas.
The belief behind this rule is if these are mixed then relaxation
will be impossible, and work material kept in the bedroom will
prevent getting a good night’s rest.
Check this bed out! It follows the curves known by Feng Shui and
must be very comfortable by the looks of it!

Hang Mirrors
Mirrors are believed to reflect positive energy, therefore doubling the effect.
They also work by preventing the flow of negative energy around the home.

Display Plants, Flowers, and Fruit - Bring the outdoors IN
Displays of fresh flowers and plants promote positive energy.
Displays of oranges and lemons throughout the home are
thought to bring good luck.

Fill The House With the proper colors
Colors have a special significance in feng shui, with
different colors representing different things.
For example, green symbolizes nature, and is therefore
representative of life and hope.

Yellow represents power, and red and purple are said to be lucky.
Relaxing colors are best used in living spaces.

Avoid Sharp Lines And Corners.
Roundness is preferred in feng shui.
Wherever possible corners should not point to beds or chairs, as they
will prevent calmness and relaxation.

The Best Christmas Gift Ever: A Wordle

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and Santa was good to you!

This was a special holiday for me, partly due to a thoughtful,

blonde haired beauty that I'm proud to call my daughter.

I'd like to share my favorite gift for two reasons:

A. It means so much to me

and

B. It's artwork for your house!

Ashley took the time to contact my friends and family members

(at least the ones she could find their email addresses secretly!!)

and asked them to send in 3 words to describe me.

She entered them into the Wordle program and

Viola'!...

my Wordle was created.

Looking at the photo, if the word was repeated a few times,

then the font is larger than the others.

Seeing all the names of my close friends and family who contributed,

basically took my breath away as I forge through a challenging time.

I got a kick out of some of the terms, but for the most part,

I'm just so touched and inspired by the people in my life.

Holiday Company Coming? Spruce Your Guest Bath!

Most of you are winding down the work week, but we are still going!
I'm off to New York, New York's house this morning to work on
the Remodel that has taken a life of it's own!

We are waiting for the above tile for the guest room bath...
which is going to be clean and classy-
black custom cabinetry and custom tile by
Natural Selections.

I told NY, NY... the house guests may never leave:)

If you are expecting guests over the holidays, keep reading
to get your guest bath whipped into proper shape!

Like me, we will all be doing lots of tidying up,
rearranging and getting ready for company this holiday season!

What is the one thing that will get used no matter what when company comes over??
The Guest BATHROOM.
I think, many times the guest bathroom gets overlooked because...
well, you never need to go in there, you use YOUR bathroom.
So it often gets put to the bottom of the list when it comes to redo's...
But, really, it should be closer to the top of that list.

Here are a few ideas for those already redoing
their guestbaths,
and a few tips for those who just want to spruce it up!

First off-- never be afraid of the windows!
Any natural light you have in your guest baths, take advantage of it!
For you lucky ones who have windows...
Free standing vanities are great in guest bathrooms because you have the
flexibility of doing what you want with them.

Typically the Guest Bathrooms are smaller.
Use big scale patterns on the shower curtain to really accentuate
a more grand appearance in the small space.

Color! When else can you use bright vibrant colors in your home?
Definitely not a lime green wall in the living room (I hope).
But you can easily play off wonderful colors in a small bathroom, and
offset it with white trims, frames and fittings.

I love the bead board that keep reoccuring in many of the bath photos.
This adds just a touch of texture to the small room,
and gives interest to the bottom half of the room.

As much as possible, stay light and airy so that the space doesn't start to close in on you.
Add baskets, trays and accessory items to make the room feel more lived in and welcoming.

Mirror mirror on the wall....Mirrors will always expand a room.
Reflection is a wonderful thing.
Use a whole wall to become a mirror or frame a mirror with mirror.
You can't go wrong. Don't worry.

Double vanities. If you have the option or flexibility of doing this,
separating vanities to become two stand alone items will provide
each guest his or her own space with the same room for those sharing the bath.

Be a hotel! Make sure you are stocked up on "extras".
Towels, toiletries, etc. Be creative with the display.
Find a great wooden cabinet to paint, or use baskets attached to a wall...

Add hooks and shelves for extra storage and space.

Candles! They smell nice and set a wonderful ambience. They are a must have.

Wine Bottle Holiday Decor!

What are you doing with all those empty wine bottles and corks?

Why not put them to use as great Christmas decor??

They can make an elegant centerpiece,

or a fun ornament! Check out these ideas.

Paint your wine bottles! Spray paint works great for this type of craft.

Make sure and read on it, to ensure it will adhere to glass, and have fun!

Fill the bottles with glitter sprigs and set on top of a mirror for

extra reflection on your dining room table.

Looking for an interesting mantel piece?
Try this Wine Bottle Light (and be extra careful!)
for a unique conversation starter.

I recently saw this Wine Bottle Christmas Tree and had to share it with you!!

Using an iron frame and upside down tilted wine bottles, this large tree was created.

Here is a close-up of the construction.

An easy, natural look using wine bottles: wrap each bottle in yarn
(in whatever colors you prefer) and mix & match sizes of bottles for added interest.

Looking for a dining table light display?? This is perfect.
Use tall candles to fit inside the neck of the bottle at varying heights
for an eye popper of a table decoration!

Feeling crafty and have extra corks? Make an ornament!
Simply use hot glue, and pipe cleaners to form this little Rudolph.

Here are a few wine cork wreath ideas that are fabulous.
This more "jumbled" look was made by tedious work of hot glueing each piece
in the location YOU want it and then attaching to a wire wreath frame.

This more clean appearance is using corks and 2 different color berries
glued every other one and topped with a small bow.

Snow "cork" men! Paint those corks and use cotton balls or wooden circles

(found at any craft store) for the heads. Top him off with a spool of thread for the hat!

And last but not least, an easy use for your extra corks...a Christmas tree!

Again, this takes a bit of hot glue and a lot of patience, for an excellent result!

Christmas Decor Tips and Tricks!

Christmas time is in full swing! In the stores, on the radio,

AND in many, many homes full of garlands and glitter...

Each year, I try to add just one new holiday decoration

...and this year it is a white Christmas tree.

Yes, I did buy it off of Craigslist after the holidays last year,

but don't snub your nose yet!

Take a look now-

Do you ever seem to have a loss of ideas for how to make your Christmas decorations

just a little bit different than last year? Here are a few ideas for table top decor,

mantel garnishes, wreath making, and Christmas tree decorations and themes!

Traditional Colored Tabletop:

Bring out the reds and whites!
Use a small tree skirt as a centerpiece on your table and layer small snowmen and
mini Christmas trees around to create a winter wonderland. If you have a light
fixture above your table, bring out your craftiness and make a snowflake chain
to hang from the light!

Elegant Silver Tabletop:

Looking for a softer, more subtle and formal tabletop decor?
Layer your place-settings with silver chargers and create different levels by using
different height candle sticks topped with a single ivory candle. White flowers with a touch
of pine tree garland will add the pop of color you are looking for.

Garland and Beaded Mantel:

Cover that beautiful mantel with plenty of beautiful garlands!

Even some colored garlands, such as this silver pine, can be quite excellent

when matched with red tulle or fabric softly tossed in the background of the

mantel. Use cranberry beads and garlands (found at any craft store)

to drape asymmetrically off the mantel.

Bannered Mantel:

Craft an elegant "banner" out of ornaments spelling out
"Merry Christmas" that you could even make yourself!

This dermatologist office is now beautified and open for patients!

Fun job for Connell Interiors to take a commercial space from this-

We literally started from no color palette and found inspiration in the

chair fabric... the rest unfolded from there.

From start...

to finish...

Incredible amount of details involved from selection of

cabinet veneers, counter top laminates, paint color, wood trim

granite slab, light fixtures, restroom tile, wood blinds, cove mold,

carpet, exam room details, wall finish... and not to mention-

furniture, lamps and artwork.

Several readers are patients at the "brother" space... literally...

that I completed over a year ago.

The Selkin brothers now run two offices here- Center of Dermatology of Plano

and now the Facial and Skin Surgery Center, and several

others in the Dallas Metroplex.

They say their patients don't want to leave the waiting room-

when does that ever happen?!

I attended High Point Furniture Market a few weeks ago and have so much

Like Mother, Like Daughter: A Future Interior Designer

Kitchen: An empty can falling on the floor

Something is wrong when the 13 year old is going to bed

at 5 am on a school night!

A year and a half ago, I wrote about this same

A Custom Kitchen in Progress: Part 2

Well, it has almost been three months and we are starting to see the finish line!

My client, New York, New York, has taken a small "facelift" of a project and

turned it into a complete "overhaul"!!!

New Project: Space in the City

Would you trade your view from Suburbia for this one?

Before I stepped foot into my client's new high rise apartment...

the answer would have been NO.

On the flip side, there is something very peaceful about surveying an

entire city in one glance-

Enter long time client, who I will affectionately call...

Carrie Bradshaw...

(for more reasons than one)

-who is moving from this house we finished in Frisco

to this high rise on McKinney Avenue in Dallas...

Not a great pic of her view, but I promise... it is killer

Naturally, we are trading her look of traditional for transitional... a bit sleek.

Not much of her current furnishings will work here,
so we will be having some fun!

(we threw it down the trash chute on the way out of the building:)

Designing a space in a high rise apartment always
has it's challenges, but the end result is worth it.

Keep reading for some tips on designing your new space
if you are moving on up!!!

1) Be creative with your walls

*Hang your art over your bed...literally!

2) Paint, paint, paint...

*I'm not typically a fan of painting accent
walls, but in a small space it can have a large impact

3) Add architecture

*The illuminated artwork within the molding is the focal
point in this room... (aside from the view!)

4) Less is more

*This is the time to edit your belongings. Escape the busy
city by bringing in "less stuff" and neutral furnishings
to create a tranquil setting

5) Use every inch...

*Great example of proper space planning
-seating, storage, task space, display

Client Project: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader Scores!

This client has an easy name "Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader"...

and she really is a doll!

I started working with DCC about six years ago and completed

several rooms in their beautiful Starwood home. She called me a few

months ago with a dilemma... what to do in the game room.

They had just purchased the large sectional

(which looks like a giant baseball glove to me)-

and it looked like it was swallowing up the entire room!

Look at the before:

We still need to add a few touches... upholstered ottomans

and a few floor lamps... but it has come a long way!

Dilemma:

You have gathered memorabilia over the years

and it collects dust in boxes.

Solution:

Hang it on the wall! We incorporated all her

Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader loot and put it on display!

(I have to say, she looks pretty good:)

Custom diamond shaped panels for the curved wall

(another solution for a hard to fit space)

Star studded window cornices!

Thanks to the artwork by La Montage and my great team, Fred and Paula,

this install definitely scored a touchdown!

Client Project: A Design Plan in Action

PLAN

Today is the day- the first day of school. It is quite a difference having an eighth and tenth

grader heading back... not many butterflies since they know everything. period.

Our plan is double drop off and then I hit the ground running.

(*note: Son will be driving in less than 3 weeks- yes!)

First stop is to finalize paint colors at a great project I have been working on-

a new dermatologist office in Plano.

I completed the first office last summer and this one is shaping up

just as beautifully as the first...view here

Here's a peek at our design in progress:

Take a look at the sequence here. Good design starts with a good plan-

The inspiration for this project was the cream fabric with the sunburst pattern-

which was a great jumping off point for color

Furniture is ordered and artwork is next

One of my points in showing you this is that if you are a visual person,

then you might need this planning approach as well.

Seeing the mix all together may put you at ease until the project

is installed and you are pleased:)

So, stay tuned and see what this turns into!

A big thank you to David, the general contractor, for finally

turning on the air conditioner. Walking out drenched and having to reshower

after being at the work site was getting old!:)

The Ghost Chair

Enter the vanity stool idea from the youngest daughter.

My initial thought..."Just one more thing to clutter her already cluttered bathroom"

My solution..."The Ghost Chair!"

Basically it is invisible which is what she needs in there-

(you can typically see the clothing on the floor right through the chair:)

The original owners of our house built this bathroom with their twin

boys in mind. Yes, there are two vanity areas in this bath but no knee

space for the gal to sit and primp... a must for a teen ager!

I'm liking it so far!

The trend is catchy... these acrylic ghost chairs are everywhere

and as slight as they are- they make quite a statement!

In the design world, we do see furniture made of lucite

(which is actually a brand of acrylic patented by Dupont)

Here are some shots from the Atlanta Market:

Found this great pic on Patricia Gray's blog and I love how

she included tips for cleaning acrylic and lucite...

Try using hot soapy water and a polishing cloth first-

Don't use Windex! Novus Polish is the product you should use.

As far as other furniture made of lucite, I could go on for days...

Beauty and the Beach House

We're back in TX!

We spent the week at Brigantine Beach, NJ to celebrate my parent's

50th Wedding Anniversary-

Congrats again, Mom and Dad!

Brigantine is located just outside of Atlantic City,

which of course which allowed us to spend some time at the casinos:)

The beach house we rented was beautiful...

just look at the fabrics throughout the house!

Below is the bathroom where my sister stayed....

This was my bath...

(one of these is not like the other!)

NOTE:

If you are remodeling or building...

1. Do not put a tiny square mirror over the tiny vanity

2. Do not put the light switches between the tiny square mirror and tiny vanity

3. Do not put the ONLY outlet near the floor

Good thing I'm not high maintenance:)

On a serious note, the three level house was gorgeous

and we had a fabulous week with my immediate and

extended families... it was wonderful to see you all!

We gave my parents a party on Tuesday and I decided that if I lived

any where near NJ/NY, I'd be at least 50 pounds heavier... yikes!

I did take advantage of some "me" time

which I cherished early, early in the morning...

The water, my playlist and my Nikes-

Thank you Mom, Dad, Tom, Tricia and the rest of my

NJ family... we enjoyed our visit very much!

Now... back to work!

A Custom Kitchen in Progress: Part 1

Kitchen Envy...

I've started a new project- basically a gut of a kitchen in

the Knox- Henderson area of Dallas.

My client, New York, New York and I have covered our

bases, starting with the new cabinetry.

I recommended: Custom

NY, NY wants: Semi- Custom

I recommended: Glass fronts

NY, NY wants: All wood

I recommended: The white kitchen above (to get out of my system)

NY, NY wants: The opposite:)

(you see how this is going!)

This is an example of a Designer/Client collaborative effort...

which is working...really it is!:)

A bit more modern-

The drawing doesn't show the cove crown to the ceiling as well as the

hardware or countertops... I'm crossing my fingers for Silestone and a granite island.

Here's a slight addition on my part:)

Once we were satisfied with the overall design,

next was the backsplash tile-

I recommended:

Linear mosaic... great colors to go with a silver gray quartz counter

NY, NY wants:

But... with the removal of the tropical brown granite and

addition of some white glass

(my original Plan A until I found the above!)

I'm pushing for the compromise:

1. Choose your colors

2. From hundreds of choices

3. Put in the the computer program

by percentage of color preference...

and it's yours-

My job is to propose ideas that will work and

the client makes the decision...

The one decision made is semi-custom cabinetry

by Kraftmaid. I have to say I am impressed with the

multitude of options available.

most lines are a bit too traditional for my taste

(and client's too:)

I'm still in Hot Lanta for Market, but woke up ~~early~~ to share

My new Little Black Dress

All true until I got to the organized part...

But I found hope when I spotted this today-

Little Black Dress!

Now, I do have a few, but none that works it like this!

A place for necklaces, bracelets and earrings which hangs on a hook

or curtain rod. 39 clear pockets on one side and 24 loops on the other .

They don't call it the Happy Organized Home Sale for nothing!

Monogrammed Chairs: I'll take a Pair

I've always love personalizing a space with initials...

and I just did it for a client project...

(it is a surprise, so I'll show you after the reveal!)

How about a surprise for you?!!

I was sourcing chairs for a client presentation and stumbled upon

a feature of the line, Designmaster, which is custom monogramming...

that we all can afford!

Do not stop with the bed sheets!

Look at these fabulous options...

I really dig the letters but Style #8 makes my hear flutter-

so classic...

The contrast cording really sets these chairs apart as well.

Below is the selection of thread colors and I didn't even include them all-

Here are some tips from the folks at Designmaster...

located in Hickory, North Carolina:)

Custom embroidery designs applied to the inside back of our dining chairs

are positioned on the chair to be seen a few inches above the table top. If the chair

back is taller, the embroidery design will be further down from the top of the chair back.

If the chair is shorter, the design will be closer to the top of the chair back.

The monogram embroidery designs are slightly larger than the monogram

designs. However, the design placement is done in the same fashion.

Custom embroidery applied to the outside backs of our chairs, in most cases, will be placed on the upper portion of the chair back at a height level similar to the front. Sometimes, the embroidery design will look more appealing if it is centered on the back of the chair.

If you are going to spend $$$ on this over the top ceiling,

monogramming the theater chairs is a must

Happy 4th of July!

We're water logged after a busy weekend at the lake,

but thought I'd share one of my latest projects in the color

scheme of red, white and blue!

It all started with this fabric integrated into a really traditional room! Yes, yes, yes!

A great Before and After at a classy North Dallas home-

My clients, Hughes Who?, were finished with the oversized Waverly patterned

sectional... it did serve them well! The challenge was to furnish the room

around the colorful area rug.

Another surprise from my trip to Dallas Market last week~

I popped into the Patricia Group to check out some Surya rugs

from the Candice Olson line and ran into this...

Maybe it's me whose been living under the rock, but I haven't seen many

home theater rooms with this set up. Really, it's just like being at

Studio Movie Grill in your own home.

The Patricia Group has found a niche in Home Theater Design

and here are my top 5 faves from their showroom floor:

Fun day at Dallas Furniture Market on Thursday...

lots of snacks and oh-so- many buyers...

but I enjoy the perks of braving the crowd.

Once in a while, I'm stopped dead in my tracks.

Not only do I adore the color combination, but this chair

is a go-to resource because it is....

A winning combination!

1: Simple: Clean lines on the frame

2: Custom: Choose any fabric you love

3: Affordable: Use the focal fabric on the front or back only

4: Functional: Faux leather goes on the seats for easy clean up!

I raved about this same style chair last year... so I must still love it!

planning proper space may not be an issue! If not, choose a corner

Install a mirror to keep you on track.

Choose your Color Palette:

Two thoughts: Select warm yellows or cool blues and greens

for a soothing feeling (maybe for your yoga mood) and

brighter colors to inspire an intense workout!

Multitask:

Choose a corner in the gameroom so you can keep an

eye on the kids at the same time.

and Must Haves:

If at all possible, install a television in your workout room, good flooring

(either tightly woven carpet or rubber mats on hardwood),

and proper lighting for a positive experience!
