Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Blessings this Christmas and in the New Year!!

Pantone Color of the Year -- 2014 !

Each year we look forward to the unveiling of the color of the year by Pantone.

This year .... drum roll please..... is "Radiant Orchid"

One of our most favorite projects that we have yet to reveal incorporates this color in the
upstairs master bedroom and loft area of this fun, young clients home!!

Such a calming bedroom, with such an exciting POP of color.

This little swivel chair was an adorable addition of seating to this room.

We mixed in a bit of black to accent the lightness of the room and we love how it turned out.
Such a fun bedroom for this med student to relax in.

In her "loft" area, we created a study space that she could spread out in, yet be stylish as well.
The gray and magenta wallpaper is the showstopper of the entire upstairs.

We look forward to incorporating this color throughout projects this next year, and can't wait to unveil ALL the photos from this uptown loft project we completed earlier this year!

Arctic Blast = Wintery Decor

Since the weather decided to take a drastic turn this week from the
80 degree weather we were experiencing,
we decided that this new wintery mix made us think
of a specific "color scheme" that we are so fond of ;)

And we actually just completed an
installation that showcased it!

Blue-Gray and White. Doesn't that get you in the winter spirit?!

There are several ways to "winterize" your home...
and we aren't talking about covering your water pipes, or checking your heater!

* Candles. Our personal favorite "Winter" from Bath and Body Works
will get you in the cold season fast! We love mixing a candle with glass vases and natural items such as birch branches or twigs.

*Silver dusted pine cones. These are just lightly spray painted with
silver to give them a classic, freshly snowed appearance.

*Adorable printables. Why not set the mood with phrases that inspire??

*Here are a few settings to inspire ;) Collections of vases, pine cones, jars, and silver are touches that we love to incorporate

Stay warm and safe!!
